Located at the Portes de la Sologne, the Castle of la Ferté Saint-Aubin was built at the end of the 16th century by the Marshal and Peer of France, Henri de Saint-Nectaire. The moats, walls and its two wings were built in the 17th century.
The Guyot family’s adventure begins in 1987, and a few years ago for their son, Lancelot, current owner of the place and true history and heritage enthusiast. He was able to give a fresh start to the tour, combining games and history.
With family or friends, explore the depths of the Castle and fall in love with this building by spending a day discovering the park or enjoying the activities offered throughout the year. The Orangerie du Château will allow you to plan your dream wedding in an idyllic setting, The jardin d'hiver de l'Hermitage offers you a more intimate setting, perfect for your family or friends parties. Finally, to keep its originality, which the Castle of la Ferté Saint-Aubin wishes to maintain, you will have the opportunity to book inside rooms such as the kitchens, the guard room, and the dining room.

The Castle of la Ferté Saint-Aubin offers three cottages for rent, all with a lot of charm. The "Gîte de l'Ermitage", a typical 1930s Sologne house, is designed for a group of up to 15 people. The "Pavillon des Cerfs", classified as a historical monument and dating from the 17th century, accommodating up to 13 people. Finally, the "Pavillon de l'Orangerie", also from the 17th century and classified as a historical monument, offers up to 14 beds.
