La Ferté-Saint-Aubin is a very attractive city for tourists. It has everything welcome and satisfy everyone!
Its geographical location makes it an excellent stop city, being the first city in Sologne to be crossed by RD2020n, and having a train station facilitating access to cities such as Paris, Orléans, Gien, Lamotte-Beuvron, … The Rémi network is also very practical to move around on this vast territory.
It offers many car parks throughout RD2020, some further away than others, making it easier for visitors and locals to walk around. Another advantage is its camper van area close to the Cosson. Which will delight our camper van friends!
La Ferté-Saint-Aubin is a versatile town. Its different leisure structures will please everyone:
- For athletes: The Pony Club Vinauger and its horse or pony rides, the aquatic complex the CUBE, the Cosson and the Aisses pond for fishermen, the Aisses golf course for golfers or the hiking trails for hikers or just for those who like to take a walk around Sologne.
- For nature lovers: stroll through the Parc du Cosson or the Aisses Pond offering both learning paths and peaceful moments in the middle of nature, or the Arboretum de la Chavannerie and its exceptional exotic trees collection.
- The architectural heritage is one of the most noticeable aspects of Ferté-Saint-Aubin. Visit the Tourist Information Center to request the heritage path booklet; and find the city’s must-see sites. Visit the Castle of la Ferté-Saint-Aubin, discover the Cité Petit, make a pilgrimage to Notre-Dame des Trays and walk by the many private castles scattered outside the city such as the castle of Aulnettes, La Luzière, etc.
- For Art lovers: in addition to the different craftsmen in town, discover the "Sculpture Path" on the banks of the Cosson near the Cosson Campsite.
Also visit its memorial places such as the Bellefontaine memorial and the Ferme du By, two intrinsically linked places.

La Ferté-Saint-Aubin is ideal to make a stop, buy souvenirs, discover the surroundings, or simply live there.
It offers many amenities and local shops: bakery, bookstore-tea salon, local product stores, cellar, gift shop, DIY, etc.; two supermarkets; two hotels; furnished accommodations and a campsite!
