Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste

Description

Founded by royalty, it was probably built in the 7th century. The fleur-de-lys on the keystone in the choir is proof of this. It was restored in the 13th and 15th centuries. At the beginning of the 18th century, it was surrounded by a caquetoire, which was replaced by the small 13th-century porch. On one of the buttresses of the façade, on the square side, a sculpture features three fleur-de-lys. The choir is in Apremont stone, built in the 16th century. It was restored in the 19th century. A gallery and clock were installed at the beginning of the 20th century.

On the outside, it looks like a 12th-century monument. Its bell tower is original: it is built in the shape of a square tower, set between the choir and the nave.
