Notre-Dame des Trays

Description

In 1850, Félix Seurrat de la Boulaye, mayor of La Ferté-Saint-Aubin, had this chapel built on his property, not far from the Chemin d’Yvoy and the Route des Trays, to house a statue found in the attic of Saint-Michel church and hidden there, perhaps, to escape the destructive madness of the 1789 Revolution.
