Saint-Martin Church

Description

Built in the 15th century, Saint-Martin church was burnt down during the Hundred Years’ War and the Wars of Religion.
Its Romanesque windows were replaced by Gothic ones during the last reconstruction.
One of the two bronze bells dates back to 1650 and is a testament to the skills of yesteryear! As well as the 18th-century baptismal font, the choir mosaic, and the stained glass windows, restored in 1982 by students at the Beaux-Arts school in Paris, are just some of the marvels to be admired in this little Sologne church!
