Chambord castle

Chambord, located in the Loir-et-Cher (41), inside the greatest forest park of Europe, is one of most Loire’s castles. Its building started in 1519 and it was ordered by François 1st to become the symbol of France’s and royal powers.  Renaissance Emblem, this place saw the centuries and its famous people like Louis 14th, Molière or Victor Hugo. True architectural artwork, this monument is famous all around the world. Chambord counts 426 pieces, 282 chimneys, and 77 stairs. Take the central double spiral staircase invented by Leonard Da Vinci. This spiral staircase permitted to the king to use it without being seen.

After the castle‘s visit, don’t hesitate to walk in the French gardens inside its forests. Some observation sites are set up in the wood to observe wild animals. During the Brame’s period, you could see or hear deer defying each other to impress hinds. Chambord offers you a sumptuous place to live a unique natural experience!

ZooPark of Beauval

The Zoo Park of Beauval is the 4th rank most beautiful zoo in the world and is located in Sologne ! Discover more than 35 000 species of animals on more than 44 hectares. It also has 20 different territories created to be closer of the natural environment of each specie.

Novelties during these latest years “Le Dôme Equatorial”. Wake up your adventurer spirit and immerse yourself around the equatorial. Inside this true tropical Forest, you could observe more than 200 animal and plant species. What about a bit of height ? Beauval suggests you a new experience with cable cars that overlooks the park.

The Floral Park of Orléans - La Source

Labialized « Jardin Remarquable », the Parc Floral of La Source offers you 35 hectares of nature for the pleasure of the garden’s passionate and walker. Create around the source of the Loiret, resurgence of the Loire, contemporain’s park gardens suggest you a beautiful collection of iris, rose, fuchsias, and dahlias.

You could walk the different universes of this park with the train. Why not make a stop at the little farm of animals? Goats, sheep, donkeys, and Vietnam’s pig, waiting for you near kids’ play. You could admire the butterfly house, a truly tropical garden with the perfect temperature (between 25 and 30 degrees) and 80% humidity.

Region Centre-Val de Loire’s capital

At least 30min of La Ferté-saint-Aubin, discover the Orleans’ charm with its little streets. Visit the old street and rise your eyes to admire timber-framed facades from medieval times. Walking throughout the city, you’ll also discover its must-sees monuments like the Cathedral Sainte-Croix built in the 4th century, and the Hôtel Groslot.

The city is also known thanks to its hero: Jeanne d’Arc. The famous virgin marked the Hundred Year War and delivered the English’ occupation of Orleans City. 6 centuries after, you could walk on her path and re-discover her history at the Maison de Jeanne d’Arc where she stayed from April to May 1429.

The city is throughout by the longer river of France: La Loire. How about navigating along the river and letting you flow during a river trip? When your trip is ended, take a rest on the Loire banks and appreciate the sunset in your sit on board.
